Which Access Lid Do I Require?
As with the general suitability of an Underground Poly Tank for your project, the type of lid required should be determined in consultation with a certified civil engineer.
However, the following can be used as a guide as to the purpose of the different grades of access lids that we can supply with our Underground Poly Tanks.
Class A Access Lid
Approximate Nominal Wheel Load: 330kg
Typically used in areas with pedestrian and bicycle traffic only.
Class B Access Lid
Approximate Nominal Wheel Load: 2,670kg.
Typically used for residential properties and footpaths with light vehicle traffic.
Class D Access Lid
Approximate Normal Wheel Load: 8,000kg.
Typically used in areas where heavy vehicle traffic is expected.
